Busy busy!

These are small embroideries for a small project l am working on.
Made new cover for  a chair!
Made these pillows and runner for my daughters new home! And this is Amber guarding hubbywallet, not that there is much in! Those blue eyes are so pretty! Amber is one of 3 cats of  daughter's that moved to our place. The ginger one went  with her to the new place but Amber is at home here! The other cat, Ambers brother, with the short tail eating,
decided to stay at their previous home and kept walking back. So with permission with the new owners he is allowed to stay. Daughter supplies his food. And he is very happy with the arrangement!

Another finish!!!!

I have now completed this pillow cover for my sewing room. It was a fun project that was done with 2 other friends just starting to learn free style embroidery. They are really having fun and also is an inspiration to me. I have sharing all my embroidery knowledge with them. They seem to enjoy it!!!

Busy Busy and a few finishes

Two round pillows embroidered and some roses in organza and lots of beads and
also some of my own crocheted lace.

A nappy changer bag for my daughter.
this is the inside with pockets for all
the nappies and stuff

when closed also an outside bag added for her stuff when shopping.
I added zips to the sides so she will be able to put a bottle in there
too. I chose this colour so that she will be able to use it anywhere
even on the car bonnet when necessary! hehehe

Block 22 done and block 23 nearly completed!!!

This is block 22 done

Just close up of a heart in block 22

This is a favorite of Benjamin our oldest grandson
and he just loves John Deere tractors
at this stage of his life! Must say
on second thoughts he has not swapped
his likes in life very much so far.

This is Liam the youngest grandson, favorite "Cars" also at this
stage of his life, which I am sure will change
a lot.

This is Matthews, which is the middle grandson
and his favorite at the moment,
before that it was snakes. I remember
that he loved frogs for many years
and also tortiouses and and, I am sure
that this will also change a lot.

This is the photo that I chose for the
crazy quilt. It was taken in Durban 2013.

Well now I am nearing the end of this journey I am very excited to say
that I now have only two more blocks left and then I will be joining the
whole lot together. I cannot believe that these have taken a lot of my time now for nearly three years now. But must add that this has taken my into my own life journey with lots of healing while embroidering away at the special blocks. The next stage will be joining them together and then embroidering over the blocks to make it into a whole quilt look. Also in the process my best friend Anna is going to help with the outlay as she has inspired me all the way through this journey and also thanks to her for all the inspiration behind making this crazy quilt.
