This is now nearly completed

just need to add the bird bath

and the crushed pebbles.

My angel quilt top is coming along just great

I have finished the flying geese paper piecing

around and now have the embroidery to do and

then I can quilt it and am hoping to have it done

by the end of winter.

Gardening!!!

This is what I have been busy with
lately. We are now redoing our 2nd piece
of the front garden and having it
really easy to keep. will be a while
before completed.

This is nearly completed just have to

add backing batting and binding.

perpetual calender which I change

every month. Just love it.

This is the last of the borders for

my angel quilt top and is called

paper pieced flying geese.

No time for chat have to get these done

have to do at least 210 triangles and hope

that it will be enough to go round the sides.

This is my angel quilt and am busy with

the next border which has hearts appliqued on.

I decided to join the "Home Sweet Home"

block of the month. Every month you get a block

to make and then have to post it in the gallery.

Great way to make a quilt and my first blocks

are what our African sunsets are like.

Busy Busy

Have been so busy trying to get all the photos up to date in
our photo album. Have just dicovered powerpoint and love it.
It takes some time to get all the photos together but hopefully
it won't take too much time away from my sewing.
Have still been busy with my angel's quilt and have added the next border
which is appliqued with hearts all round. will take a while as I
am doing all this by hand and loving every minute of it.

Placemats

This is placemats that I am making for my kitchen

On the lefthand side I have put in pockets

to put the cutlery and a serviette.

Now have to go and finish it up.

The centre angel quilt

Well here it is at last and finished.

I have taken ages to get the blocks

together and it sure looks great.

It will become a Dbed

quilt so I have some way to go still.
