Christmas decorating started!!!
I have started with my
Christmas decorating and here is
what I have done so far. I like to take
things slow and enjoy it.

This is my angel that I made
last year and she hangs above the
mirror in the entrance.

This is my four pillow covers I made
also last year and made the quilt on the
back of the couch two years ago.

This is the light in my lounge and just
had to hang the bubbles with ribbons there
I saw something simular but with bigger
baubles in a local yummy shop by the name
of Emile's. He decorates his shop different every
year and I have gone every year to see the display.

This is my perpetual calender and als
gets the Christmas treat.

Also have Raggedy Ann and her Christmas tree.

Sorry about the pic not being very clear but
it is the best one. See my lovely gollywogs at the bottom,
well you can just see their eyes. My favorite dolls always.
Then I have my Christmas wallhanging and put it up every year
but still not completed, but it has to be up.

Completed jipeeeeeee!!!!!!
Finished at Last !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parts of this quilt comes from a
great magazine "The Australian
Patchwork & Quilting magazine"
It is in Volume 11 no 8 "Calling all Angels"
by Keryn Beischer and I just
loved it from the minute I saw it.
I have changed it a lot but as you
can see I used lots of the blocks
from that pattern.

This is the back of my quilt
sorry that the color did not come out
clearly but you can see the quilting
which was done by hand with Coats
no 8 crochet cotton.

This is the centre block

This is one of the side panels and found
these lovely star beads at a local shop here
in this small town of ours. cant believe it!!!

And here is the complete quilt and on my bed
and our cat Chichi is testing to see if it feels
good enough to sleep on.

Next projects completed

This was started a while back as
a friendship quilt with my "Potpouri"
group and they have all finished theirs
but I seem to lag behind. Have never
been one to rush things to just get it completed
I need to take time to reflect on the next step.
I also am not able to follow the instructions to
the letter, have to forever change the quilt to
my liking.
This is a peg bag that I have now completed
for my daughter and it is in Country Threads Vol 4 No 12
and as you can see I have changed it a bit. It was fun and
easy to make and I have also started one for myself.

Our Anniversary!!!!
Yesterday was our 36th Wedding anniversary!!!
Can't believe it has been that long.
This was a yellow phase in my life.
Well we have survived this long and
hope it will be even longer. Thank
the Lord for taking care of us.
We have 2 kids and 2 inlaw kids
and now also have 3 gorgous
healthy grandsons too.
Wow so much to be thankful for.!!!
