Happy Birthday!!!!!

Today I have been blogging for 4 years and I cannot believe how fast time has gone by.
Also the amount of stitching I have completed and still have to complete.
Well now I need to have a coffee to celebrate the 4 years.
Thank you also for sharing this journey with me. I have made many wonderful friends over
the years even though we have never seen each other I know that you are specially chosen
for me. Hand picked flowers just for me. So huge hugs to you all.

Charka our kitty

This is Charka now after being with us for some time now

We have playtime every morning and I just love how the sun is shining through his earts.

Wild flower season now starting when these appear

 These are flowers that bloom every year in March but I have never

seen them in March but they come in April now and this is the first

time I have seen them in such a huge group at "Karoo Kop" just outside

Clanwilliam at the turn off to Boskloof. What a fantastic site to see

so now we know winter is on its way. Hope we have lots of rain

this winter.

 

Cats!!!!!!

This is my cats wallhanging that I am working on and the top is nearly completed.

Completed at last

Here is that wild kitty Charka and hubby
enjoying a nap in the afternoon sun.

I have now completed this quilt and all the blocks just

came together so nicely. Received all these blocks in a

swap from friends in Australia and area.

Finished this quilt just stitching the last of the binding and its a double
bed size and for my daughter.

Tree python!!!!!

While SIL was on a game drive late at night they spotted this Tree Python.

Took it too the Lodge and then measured it to be

3 metres and a bit.

Well of course Matthew had

to also hold this huge guy.

Not good for a grandmother

to see this.

Our Kitty named Charka

From this scared kitty not allowing us

to even touch him

To this who is now at home and learning

to enjoy being a cat in this house. Uhm thinks

the big bed is much better than the single

one he has.

"Breast of Friends"

I have also completed all 13 blocks for
the "Breast of Friends" quilt and hope to have
them joined by the end of the week.

Crazy quilt and cat!!!!

This crazy wallhanging was made
by our group "Potpourrie" for a member
who recently lost her hubby.

allover and he even purred with enjoyment

New addition to the family

Here is our new baby and its is still very wild

was not house trained and now very scared

of us but we will take it slow and we dont know

what it is yet so no name as yet. It will get to see

this is a very nice cat house to live in. hehehehe

Completed projects

I have just chatted to my stepmother and she loves
the butterfly and flowers wallhanging that I made her.
Its just a few posts back, dont know how to do links. hehehe

I have been busy getting these up to date and also decided
to make a shorter version of this for my sister and special
friend.
