Finished my Polka Dot Girls wallhanging at last just have to do the binding and then it will be on show in my lounge. hehehehe just love having something completed after many years. The stitcheries travelled far and wide with me on the roads to visit daughter and family who worked in Namibia for some years and now back in South Africa but even further than to Namibia. I

My sewingroom now

Well everyone here is what my sewingroom looks like now. All nice and neatly in the shelves. Wondering how long it will stay this way!!!!

My embroidery corner and sewing room

I have just got some more shelves and it just looks great, but now I have lots of sorting to do as I dont want the plastic shelves around but they have stuff in that needs to be sorted and packed away. Just love that all my baskets are on top of the shelves. Each of them has a story. Still embroidering away and have finished the block with daughter's wedding photo and now onto the next one. O nearly forgot that the fires that we had in the Cederberg Mountains here on our side have been put out.

This is where I sit and do my embroidery with all my goodies around. Its in my diningroom and has lots of light during the day. We never use the diningroom anyway so I have taken over half. hehehehehe

Fire and embroidery

We have been having some fires in the Cederberg Mountains since 16th January 2013 and after getting them under control, they started again today and this is what it looks like at the moment. I have been keeping inside today with the heat around 42*C here and did some embroidery.

A very creative day today.

This is what I have been working on the whole day and it just looks great. Hubby was at the bowling club playing bowls all day and just got home after I had finished this. It was a very creative day today and just loved every minute of it.

Crazy Embroidery

This is what I have done the past two days. This heat is really getting to me nowdays. We had a temp of 47*C mid afternoon and by 6pm its was down to 42*C. Thank goodness we have aircons and fans. I seem to be having a problem with posting pictures here in blogger. Dont know all the fancy stuff but hope they have not changed this photo thingy so that me the dummy at computer stuff will not be albe to get it to continue. I just love my blogging so much. Seems to be working now and will hopefully stay this way.

from my sister saying that she is
now CANCER FREE after a very
harsh treatment of 8 sessions.
