Tree python!!!!!

While SIL was on a game drive late at night they spotted this Tree Python.

Took it too the Lodge and then measured it to be

3 metres and a bit.

Well of course Matthew had

to also hold this huge guy.

Not good for a grandmother

to see this.

It was still alive right? I must admit to being fascinated by non-poisonous snakes (probably as I'm originally from NZ - no snakes there)
their skin feels quite nice to touch.

He's a beautiful looking specimen. I don't have a problem with snakes and would love to have a pet python or some such. :D

Michelle I did not know that snakes can get this big in our country.

Pip it is still alive and was placed back into nature as SIL is a nature conservationist and does not kill anything.

Grandson is enjoying this living on a nature reserve.
