Top is now completed!!!

This is now the completed
wallhanging top. Hoping
to have it all quilted soon.
Will be hanging by my
sewingmachine as I am looking
into a white wall and that is
so uninspiring.

Christmas Wishes

This is what my bom
from the Christmas wishes
by Gail Pan Designs looks like
with a few extra ones.
I used a lovely stitchery design,
actually the same one on my previous
post of the poinsettias and just
embroidered it. The colors were
just right for the centre.

Some more just things.

We have just recently got new
neighbours and they have
3 dogs and this is Tonic our cat's
way of protecting herself from them,
goodness know why she is on
the fridge but it seems to be the
highest place in our house.
The dogs cannot get to her as
we have fences up but typical
cat thinking of taking care of
herself.

This is picture of a block for
Christmas at our local forum
at www.in2stitches.co.za

Sorry this is not the right way up
but this in another member of
our Chicks sewing group's
stained glass block.

Visit in Windhoek

We went to visit daughter in
Windhoek on the 22nd August and
came back the 26th August, 2009.
It was cut short because of hubby
having Bells Palsy and had headaches.

This is Matthew building his lego
blocks and really concentrating very
hard.

This is a shopping centre in
Windhoek called the Bougeanvilla
village I think. We had some lovely
pancakes there well it was a very
interesting combination of pancakes.
Also visited Jenny's crafts of course
and there is something of everything
for the crafter.

This was on the way back between
Windhoek and the border and everything
is just flat, no real trees in site and the
sun coming up early morning. Most of the
time this is what one sees.

This is how far I am with grandsons

This is origami folding but
