We visited our son in Upington this past weekend

and here we went over the mighty Orange River, in

the Northern Cape.

Here is Benjamin (8) our oldest grandson

and here is Liam our youngest grandson aged 2

This was taken after they had a bath on Saturday

evening. The photos are not great but I was only

allowed to take one of each, instructions by oldest

grandson who does not like to be photographed.

I am a bit sore today after being the catcher of balls

in eldest favorite game of cricket.

This is my cross stitch ufo that I stopped

to first do my "Angel of Romance" and am now

working on (ufo) these Angels of the month. Now completed

the second one.

I made this bag for my sister with the lovely girly
fabric that I got from her. I also then used the
stitchery of grown girls for the other side. Just came
out so nice. I hope she likes it.

My" Angel of Romance" cross stitch is now completed
after starting it on the 4th October 2008.

Now completed and just to be washed and
then put into a lovely interesting frame.

Wonderful gift

This is my journal cover that

Linda sent me. Just love the

bright colors and am already using

it to keep my Australian Craft magazine

that I am using at the moment in it.

Thanks Linda it will be well used for

many years.

my sister and these are the two blocks

Completed

This is a wallhanging for a dear

friend who cannot sew anymore

as she is going blind. She introduced

me to sewing. Most of the stitcheries

are by Leanne Pitman and the Country

family is by someone else, cannot

remember her name at this moment.

Another ufo completed

This was a Potpouri group project and

all the others are completed but now

at last I have completed this one.

Some of the hearts and saying blocks were

done by the other members of the group.
