Wild Flower time here in Clanwilliam.

This is what I love about the wild flower season,
which is in winter here in South Africa. Its all
for free.

Lovely waterfalls after the good rain we had.

Think Mr Turtle also went sight seeing,
 maybe just
having a
quick snack for the long haul back.

We are having the greatest winter weather here and have lots of nice rainy days. 

I have been working on my crazy blocks and here is another tiny part of block 18 done.

This is a beautiful dainty flower that grows all over here in winter when the rains come.

Here is my completed wool stash bag and also made a lining with pocket to keep my hook and scissors safe.

Lots of embroidery done today and just life!

Did another broad seam.

Got a few seams in yesterday!

Its winter time here and we have had a lot of rain
in time for all the wild flowers to share their beauty.

Still working away and really enjoying the journey

a group challenge just have
to work away the ends and add a
lining.
